  • Provenance: Note: Built in Hamar, Ohio in 1877, the packet boat Mink No. 2 operated the daily service on the Muskingum River for the Zanesville-McConnelsville route until 1886, after which it was converted to a towboat moving barges of salt and coal for the Pomeroy Towboat Co.. In 1894 a flue collapsed on the boat in Pittsburg, and it was later rebuilt and renamed the Clara Cavett.
