Anglo Chinese Victorian Bamboo Hall Tree, late 19th c., with a pointed crown over a center mirror flanked by four iron coat and hat hooks, to a lower umbrella stand with an iron drip tray, H.- 79 in., W.- 29 3/4 in., D.- 10 1/4 in. Provenance: The Estate of Robert and Margaret Reily, New Orleans, Louisiana.

  • Condition: Missing section of the thin border around the proper left woven panel, approx. 10 inches long starting at upper proper left corner. Proper left trim of drip pan is detached but present, however with it detached, the pan falls through the lower bamboo frame. The pan would benefit from a simple repair. This item is very lightweight and would benefit from shoring up or being anchored to a wall. Charming example.
