  • Provenance: Note: This rare, one of a kind, Dureau drawing captures one of the most important sporting events of the mid-1960s. Ali, then Cassius Clay, defeated Sonny Liston on Feb. 25, 1964, for the world heavyweight championship title. Drawn after the famous press photo, now part of the Bettman Archive in the Getty, marked a historic moment in boxing history. Following the victory party in Miami with Malcolm X, Ali changed his name and faith.
