Large Set of One Hundred Sixty-One Pieces of Wedgwood Patrician Dinnerware, 20th c.,

consisting of 19 dinner plates, 5 soup bowls, 4 berry bowls, 28 salad plates, 21 cereal bowls, 18 bread plates, 6 cream soups, 4 egg cups, a covered sugar, creamer, teapot, coffee pot, 2 covered vegetable bowls, a sauceboat on integral flat, another sauceboat, 2 milk pitchers, 10 teacups, 4 coffee cups, 30 saucers, and 2 oval open vegetable bowls.
(161 Pcs.)

  • Condition: The set exhibits frequent gentle use. Most of the pieces have various levels of crazing to glaze. Pieces that are more routinely used, such as the plateware, have more extensive crazing as they are more likely to have small chips to their rims and foot rims. Several of the salad and dinner plates, and one of the gravy boats, have brownish discoloration due to oxidation and stains that permeated the glaze through crazing. A very new number of plates have hairline cracks and one teacup is cracked with a chip. Covered vegetable bowls have a few small chips to their rims and to their feet. Teapots, creamers, and egg cups are in near mint condition. Most damages are minor and do not comprise much of the set, but please note that the glaze is porous and crazed and subject to discoloration and possible future staining.
