  • Provenance: Note: The 1880 Comus Aztec invitation, curiously undated, was the Mistick Krewe's first to be printed on a weighty card stock and the first to be saturated in color, printed with newly introduced technique of chromolithography, the design showing the pronounced influence of the Aesthetic Movement.
