Meissen Style Polychromed Porcelain Figural Group, early 20th c., of a couple in 18th c. costume and a garden bench, the bottom incised "E4791," H.- 10 in., W.- 8 1/4 in., D.- 8 3/4 in.

Condition: As found. Apparent repairs are noted to the lady's neck, wrists, left foot and the gentleman's right hand. Slight discoloration is seen in the paint on the aforementioned areas. The gentleman's book and the lady's foot are lacking a glossy finish. Scattered chips are observed throughout the flowers on the bench. Mild wear is noted to the gilt on the purple cloth. An apparent repair is noted to one foot on the base, which appears jagged on the underside. One flower is lacking from the base. An elegant scene.
