Meissen Style Porcelain Figural Group, early 20th c., of a woman at a vanity, in 18th c. costume, H.- 9 1/2 in., W.- 11 1/2 in., D.- 7 3/4 in.

Condition: Condition consistent with age and use. A pea-size gold spot is noted on the standing lady's left hand. Seven flea-sized chips are observed on the top of the base and scattered flea-sized chips are noted to the bottom edge. A minute brown spot is seen on the bottom of the mirror. Wear and yellow discoloration are noted to the standing lady's left arm and cuff and to the standing man's left hand, indicating possible repairs. Light wear is observed throughout the gilt decoration and on the edges of the red coat and yellow dress. Dark discoloration and rough texture are noted to the right of the mirror, indicating a repair. Uneven finish is observed throughout the red coat. Scattered light brown specks are seen on the standing man's right leg. An elegant scene.
