The subject is Shelbey Leco who is swimming into her grandfather's handmade trawling net. 'Trôuleuse' is also the cover image on The Sea Bed, a collaborative poetry and photography book with writer Rodger Kamenetz where all proceeds from the limited edition version of the book went to the Grand Caillou Dulac Band of Biloxi Chitimacha Choctaw tribe. Portions of this sale will be donated to Cafe Reconcile 501(c)(3).
