Newcomb Art Pottery High Glaze Vase, 1909, by Marie de Hoa LeBlanc, the baluster side decorated with Cherokee Roses, thrown by Joseph Meyer, the bottom stamped with the "NC" cypher in blue, "JM, CV-12, and Q," pictured in "Newcomb Pottery," by Jessie Poesch, 1984, Page 126, H.- 7 1/8 in., Dia.- 4 1/4 in. Provenance: The Estate of Dr. Sue LeBlanc, Hammond, Louisiana.


  • Condition: Condition consistent with age and use. Firing flaws visible on very bottom of base, most likely from where the vase was placed in furnace. There are no signs of damage or repairs. This is a very handsome example.
