Pair of Silverplated Horse and Foal Bookends, early 20th c., by Jennings Brothers, the figures on stepped semi-circular bases, Each- H.- 5 3/8 in., W.- 4 1/2 in., D.- 3 1/2 in.


  • Condition: Condition consistent with age and use. Heavy wear throughout. Silverplate mostly lacking, except along the bases. Two 1 inch clusters of flea size spots of yellow discoloration on the edge. Proper left front leg of one tall horse detached above the hoof. Rust and soldering seams on the undersides. A charming pair.
