Sevres Porcelain Portrait Cup of Madame Des Houlieres, early 19th c., with gilt decoration and ram's head handle, on a pink ground, with a matching gilt decorated saucer, both marked "M. Imp le de Sevres," the first imperial Sevres mark, used by Napoleon from 1804-1809, Cup H.- 3 3/8 in., W.- 3 7/8 in., D.- 3 1/16 in. Note: Antoinette Des Houlieres (1638-1694) was a French poet in Paris and was maitre d'hotel to Queens Marie de Medici and Anne of Austria.
