Two Pieces of Roseville Pottery, consisting of a two handled matte blue Velmoss vase, c. 1935, #714, with an orange interior, the bottom with "714" in red crayon and a gold foil Roseville label, H.- 6 1/4 in., W.- 5 3/4 in., D.- 4 in.; together with a Lotus Vase, shape 13-10, H.- 10 1/4 in., Dia.- 5 in. (2 Pcs.) Provenance: The Estate of Dr. Sue LeBlanc, Hammond, Louisiana.

  • Condition: The tall vase shows residue from some sticker at the top, on rim. To the right of this residue there are 3 tiny firing flaw spots. Towards the bottom, the lighter glaze has some minor craquelure around bottom where there seems to be two surface chips. The other piece has no signs of nicks or firing flaws. It has the original "Roseville Pottery" sticker on bottom. Handsome examples.
